I Wasnt Expecting That!

A wander around a very dried out garden today....we don't have anyone watering it while we are away! So lots of stuff very dried out. I hope the drowning I gave them will perk them all up in the coming days.

But then a surprise...a lovely magnolia blooming and a few more buds to follow. I bought this little tree several years ago for £5 on an "half dead". table in a garden centre. Not a huge bloomer but it always delights me when the flowers appear.

PS. Not sure if the ant crawling up the flower might qualify for any of the AOG events!
