The sunrise air is tangy with dewy smells, morning stretching its arms and yawning into a new day. Cloud curtains lifting on the day beckon natures applause. It's bath time on the lake. Ducks standing tall in the water dousing their wings in sun-sparkled splashes of their own making.
The throaty warble of doves and the rustle of water reeds, testament to the scurrying of squirrels. Spiders clinging to swaying grasses contemplating web-building possibilities.
Midges looking like fireflies in the sun-shafts as they hover over their reflections in the glass-still waters edges. Walkers whistles to curious dogs and pebbly boot-crunches. Sunlight filling the quills of goose feathers scattered across the dew-strung grass.
