The Angel of .........

Evesham .....

We hired a little boat this afternoon and pootled up and down the R.Avon at Evesham, even negotiating a lock or two.  We moored up at Flagbury where we picnicked and watched the world go by at a very leisurely pace.

We saw quite a few Cormorants fishing, masses of human fishermen with enormously long rods hanging half way over the river;  lots of Swans and their teenage cygnets, ducks and geese, Moorhens and Coots and some stunning reflections.  A great way to spend an afternoon.  The weather was a trifle overcast with some sunny spells but nicely warm.

Only just able to post this and Saturday's Blip 'Thumbs Up' due to very poor internet signal here.  Sorry for lack of comments too.
