Many hands

Many WI hands are making light work of the embroidery on the new WI banner. The team gathered together this morning to see how we are progressing, and to admire each other's work. It's looking good. Now that the different elements are taking shape it was fun to lay them out onto the background fabric to see how they will look. I still have to finish my contribution, the lettering. It didn't help that I ran out of embroidery thread before I finished and had to order some more.
It was a lovely warm morning and we were able to be outside. Coffee, biscuits, lots of chat and a shared interest made a good start to the week.
