Olympic Dreams

Oh my word, words just cannot explain how good today was!

The morning session was excellent, watching the trials and tribulations of the Heptathlon Long Jump and Javelin, Womens Steeplechase, the Pole Vault and the 100m heats. It was sad to see some of the top Heptathlons get three no jumps in the Long Jump ending their Olympic dreams. One of the highlights of the morning session was seeing Oscar Pistorius, the Blade Runner making history by being the first amputee to run in the Olympic games, he is so fast!

The evening session, wow! So many of you enjoyed the atmosphere on TV and watching it back the crowd do sound amazing, but being there the sound of the crowd was unbelievable you cannot hear the stadium commentator for the noise we were making. (Writing this the day after, I hardly have any voice!)

I don't normally merge photos for blip, but this had to be an exception our Athlectics Gold Olympians, Mo Farrah, Jessica Ennis and Greg Rutherford you made my day, one never to forget!
