Victoria Informary, Glasgow

This hospital, "The Vicky", closed in May last year, after treating Southside patients since 1890. Day care and outpatients now attend the new hospital across the road. A&E and everything else moved to The Death Star in Govan.

I noted several safety helmeted engineers measuring and surveying this morning. The old hospital Is being developed into housing. Some locals say it was a film set recently.

Don't want to think too much about my memories of this section, especially Ward 17. It does look rather good in this light with a blue sky however. I hope the curved balconies are retained.
