Culzean Castle

Took a trip to Culzean Castle for the first time in about 8 years.
Impressive both inside and out, with its Country Park grounds teeming with wildlife (see Extras).
The worst of the wildlife were the wasps which disrupted us as we tried to have lunch al fresco (we resorted to moving indoors after two decided to commit suicide in my coffee and a host of them went mad for Mrs Lomond's scone & jam!).
One impressive part of the castle was the kitchen - see Extra.
