Beautiful coastline, warmed up weather

We explored by bike today. We didn't get very far in miles, but had a wonderful day. First we cycled up to the town centre of St Pol de Leon and joy of joys there was a street market! There were stalls of crafts and sandals and olives and trinkets and bits and bobs, some great music too. A band with guitars and a fiddle and drums were playing folk rock seafaring music , and a duo of fiddle and Breton bagpipes played the most haunting tunes.
It was hot and sunny and milling with people, so we cycled out of the centre along the sea wall to an old harbour expecting to find coffee shops and cafes, but there was only one, completely empty, and the owner told us we couldn't have coffee as it was a restaurant.
His loss!
We found just the exact sort of restaurant we were looking for just by the beach and ordered moules frites and a glass of white wine for me while LooseCanon tried local cider.
After that we pedalled along the causeway to the presqu'ile of Ilot de Sainte-Anne a rocky outcrop where you could sit on a bench and gaze out to sea. One of my favourite pastimes.
Then we spotted a beautiful little sandy cove back over by the restaurant, where we spent an hour or so lying on the sand drying off after a dip in the sea, made warm as the tide came in over the scorching blonde sand.
We will eat left over things tonight, possibly followed by a crepe. An early start tomorrow as we have to catch the ferry back to Plymouth.

Extra. Been playing with the waterproof camera again. The water was a bit churned up though.
