The Weather Man was right...

I have been watching the weather again this week trying to judge what direction to head on my wee Thursday day off this week...all indications said Troon was the place to be and they were right.

Had a very enjoyable afternoon with Aunty Gill and Uncle Paul walking the smugglers trail...we started at Dundonald Castle and then headed cross country along the trail to Troon beach. 9km in all...few of the barmy army dropped out this week at the half way point...conveniently outside Aunty Gill and Uncle Paul's house
:-) The Buncle stuck it out to the end.

It's a great walk with varied terrain.

After our exertions we enjoyed some fish and chips:-)

A good wee day out.
