Alone on the hills

I was alone as I walked up Great Dodd in hot sunshine today, passing only a few people as I walked up Clough Head. Apparently there were more on Helvellyn and Raise as son and husband went up on their mountain bikes (funny, I preferred to be walking....). There were, however, hoards of people enjoying the sunshine on the shores of Ullswater.
