Snips and Snaps

It's All Down Hill From Here Lads!

Er well except for that Climb up over Dale Head. Here two Pennine runners on the descent down to Honister Slate mine with the road town to Borrowdale. The runners completed just over 17 miles and climbed 7,000ft which is the Borrowdale Fell race, the race record of 2hrs 34mins 38sec is still held by Mr Billy Bland who can be seen on my blog at the prize giving.

A few blippers about racing and taking pics Ian completed the race and carried his camera to blip Scafell Pike. Whilst Snappy posted a blip of the race winner leading at Esk Hause.

Dramatic weather all around with thunder rumbling all around, but amazingly no rain on the course. Some pics of the stunning scenes and cloud formations here if it's of interest.
