Cheery Wullie

We managed to get out today for a bit of sunshine and the riverside at Dundee was looking it's best, with the blue sky and the sparkling water.  Found this character looking very cheerful (and not surrounded by hoards of children!).  He's one of the 50+ Oor Wullies on a trail through Angus and every one is different.  I've added a couple more of him too.  (Correction - I've only been able to add one more.  Does anyone know how to get a portrait photo to load on to blip?  I tried rotating it, but it always appears on its side as a landscape!)  Update!  Used a different photo!!

We then had to leave the sunshine to sit in Ninewells Hospital for an hour while my husband had an echocardiogram.  It's a follow up to a little episode he had a couple of years ago, but he's been fine since then so is not expecting any surprises when he gets the results.  There was another Wullie sitting in a snow globe inside the hospital, so there's no escaping them:-)

Having a BBQ tonight, as the heat wave looks like it may not last much longer, so we have to enjoy it while we can.
