I'm a Lumberjack

Obviously I am not a lumberjack, and neither is the person up the tree. Rather we are former oil industry employees, in the case of the man in the tree temporarily with some free time on his hands.

As he has a chain saw and a trailer he kindly offered to help prune this tree by removing some of the lower branches. It took a couple of hours to raise the level of the lowest branches by a few feet and clear up the resulting debris.

The blue sky yesterday seems to be only a memory. Today the sky is grey, so much so I put the lights on at 8 am this morning. It was also quite misty in places with a dampness in the air.
