Fringe Filled

A busy day working, trying to get things lined up for an investment deal I'm involved in and meeting with some interesting contacts.

It all changed at 5pm, with the start of a weekend of Fringe Festival fun!

A few beers with friends, interspersed with a variety of shows which I have reviewed on a new blog MrsCyclops and I have started...

In summary...
- The Noise Next Door - brilliant improv comedy, 4*
- Nina Conti - excellent comedy ventriloquism, 4*
- Anthony Rapp - Without You - an intense musical soliloquy on death, 2.5*
- Late'n'Live - some good comedy but a dangerous shambles

At Late'n'Live, we enjoyed Jarred Christmas and Chris Martin, we and loved Carl-Einar Häckner! Then a big fight broke out (part of which landed on MrsCyclops) with one guy bleeding and another knocked out, and no security in sight. full story here if you're interested.
