Yorkshire lavender fields

Today was a special day because it was the day my mum, Jackie, turned 51. We did the usual gift-bearing session in the morning. To spice things up a bit we decided to go to the Yorkshire lavender fields, as we knew mum would love it!
It was about an hour and a half drive. We sure did pick a beautiful day to come. I was sweating at times! My goodness, who knew there were so many lavender things to buy! Lavender soap, lavender coke, lavender wine and even lavender biscuits! Well, I suppose it was a lavender field.
After the Yorkshire lavender fields, we went to a nice little cafe/restaurant for lunch. Overall, I would rate my day 10/10. Could not fault it
