Caution, Man at Work

It's amazing how knowing that guests will be arriving in a few hours focuses one's energy, despite the warm weather (81F / 27C).

The hottest part of the day is yet to come -- I'm going to catch up on ironing in the late afternoon, because it is much cooler in the basement, where my ironing board resides!

Other plans for beating the heat before L and B arrive include a visit to Elizabeth Station to fill a growler (four U.S. pints) with New Belgium's Tart Lychee American Wild Ale, described by the brewery as both sour and sweet combined.
