Ukes again!

This morning I went to the opticians in Penicuik to have my glasses fixed. One of the lenses had become detached from the frames and had to be welded onto a new set of frames. I was a bit worried that there might be a problem with fixing them but everything turned out OK.

This afternoon, the uke players had planned to do some busking in Innerleithen as part of the Folk Festival. However this had to be cancelled due to heavy rain. Instead some of them came to our house for the afternoon. The picture is of thechimp and Puke. I painted Mary's bedroom door - a job that had been needing to be done for several months!
