Holy Isle

Holy Isle is situated off Lamlash on the Island of Arran and since 1990 it has been owned by a Tibetan Buddhist monk.

From May until October each year a centre for World Peace and Health is open to day visitors and residential course delegates.

On the south of Holy Isle the cottages formally used for Light Housekeepers are now a closed Buddhist retreat for women.

The highest peak is some 1,000 ft above sea level
