Irish Wedding Day

Well and OMG.  Has this ever been an event.

Starting off with Bacon Butties for breakfast.  Doug and "the lads" went to the local this morning and watched the All Blacks totally destroy Australia.
In no time at all it was wedding time, the weather very unsatisfactory for an outdoor service so indoors it was, which really was fine and dandy.
A tear jerking service, hardly a dry eye in the place.  Brid looked amazing, wearing a simple little satin fitting dress with overlaid lace bodice.  Knee length finished off with green satin high heel shoes.  Three bridesmaids in soft just pink dresses, all different but looked wonderful.  Of course the blokes scrubbed up well.
Drinkies and scrummy nibbles after while they went off and had photos taken.
Much later we all walked to another part of the castle establishment for the wedding breakfast......food over kill but beautiful all the same. Speeches were brilliant, and again a special mention of thanks to us.  Awe, so lovely.

We have snuck off to bed, but the band is cranking downstairs.  Our floor is vibrating.

Weddings are exhausting affairs.
