What a Racket

Certainly not what I was hoping to photograph today.....but...the noise of the grasshoppers and crickets compelled me to photograph one.  Seriously.  Noisiest walk I have been on.  I even videotaped a section to send to a friend as he wanted to know what crickets sound like.

I had volunteered to help a friend/colleague move homes today.  Was going to go help out for a few hours but when I realized that I was the only friend who showed, I ended up staying for 7 hrs.  Not fun when it was feeling like 40 C.  Went for a long walk after to unwind and this is what I got  ; )
