Sun going down

90s today.  We did our best to keep cool but not much else.  Lots of ice water and reading.  Took Augie to the yard but it was not much cooler than the house.  Have the fan running.  A breeze is coming up.  I don't think it was as hot as they predicted here but hot enough.  Very funny - the weather as the major topic.  Yikes.  It is good to concentrate on the garden and ice water and maybe a little gin and tonic and not dwell on the current politics in America.
