Black & White

Took the dog for a walk today through a beautiful church yard and onto a public footpath that lead us to a farm where cattle were either grazing or laying down chewing the cud. Took a few shots of the young calves and of a couple of ladies in waiting, but this one just stared at us and said blip me as we strolled past.

Before we could finish our walk the heavens opened. The sky was as black as night save for the flashes of lightening, and as neither of us can move very fast we took refuge.

We managed to shelter from the storm in the entrance to the church. As the rain bounced off the gravestones we just sat there perfectly dry. The storm was short lived and we managed to get back to the car as the sun came out again..
