Manor Valley

Totally failed to have a good walk in the hills with Mme A today. Plan A was to get up early for the long drive to walk up Mount Keen, but when I got to bed after watching the 5000m, A was still reading so waking early really wasn't on. The local weather forecast was fine so plan B was Broad Law from the Manor Valley. However, the tops were in cloud so we switched to plan C: a walk round the head of the valley. But, at 550m, we were in cloud and steady rain. Result, plan D: retreat to the valley!

We celebrated our escape by going to IKEA to buy a new mattress.
