Mackerel Fishing

Ever since C took Kai mackerel fishing two years ago, (see link of Kai and C in exactly the same spot on the quai)  Kai has been looking forward to a return trip. Last time he caught two mackerel. This time it was about 20, but we kept just six, which was one each and a pair for the couple who own the farm where we had rented our cottage.
It was very exciting for the boys, and we managed to get on Harry's boat again, the same as two years ago. It's extra special as it has the skull and crossbones flag flying.
Beck helped to pull one in, and then was very proud, telling everyone that he'd rescued a mackerel.
The extra is C and the boys eating the mackerel as a starter before dinner (it looks as if C is hogging it to himself, but he is cutting the fish up for them).  They didn't last very long. I didn't eat any, and C didn't manage to get much as the boys loved them - especially the skin. They are definitely not squeamish or fussy.
I'm having to back-blip loads of days as we had no wi-fi at the cottage. They had just had super-fast broadband installed, but alas it was not yet working.
