Matias

He's the latest addition to my 'smokers' series - a class of people that I once belonged to and who find themselves exiled to the curb to indulge in their habit (I miss it occasionally!).

His dad is Austrian and his mom Chilean (I just had to find someone truly international in the spirit of the Olympics). Matias says he's enjoyed the advantages of multiple cultures -- except when he turned 18 and had to figure out how to get out of compulsory military duty in a couple of 'his' countries ;)
