Boat trip

Back blip:

We went on a boat trip today with Fabio and Rob, marine biologists and keen snorkellers as the crew. We stopped in 4 places to swim and snorkel, each time with the opportunity to collect specimens such star fish to go into a tank of water to look at later. I didn't collect anything, but Mr C found 3 different types of star fish including this one - a type of brittle star - sea cucumbers and sea urchins.

The young lad whose chin you see was very interested in the marine life we found. When it came time to put the creatures back in the sea, he and another boy of similar age named them all!

The boat was a traditional type of Greek boat called a kaiki - there's a photos of it in the extra photos.
