........ of Small Tortoiseshell butterflies!

The Buddleia is covered in them ...... it must be a new brood as I have seen very few recently ....... these all look so beautiful & pristine :-)

We also had Red Admiral, Painted Lady & Whites ....... in fact the garden was alive with butterflies & bees ...... they must all be enjoying this beautiful, hot sunny day :-)

There was even a brief visit from a Gatekeeper ...... first I've ever seen in the garden! Unfortunately it didn't stay long enough for me to get a photo ..... but at least it passed through!

Taking Mum to the hospital tomorrow afternoon for tests after her collapse last week ...... do hope it all turns out okay.
