Shaft of light

A splendid day with dear friends staying for the weekend. Beautiful weather for one of our favourite walks from Skirmett to Turville ( better known as "Dibley").
It is quite bizarre to.visit as you can hear various visitirs' conversations about "the Vicar's house" or the animal service in the church.
The church is quite delightful and I loved this shaft of light coming through the window.

It also would have been churlish not to have had a drink or two in the village pub too, The Bull and Butcher.

The evening's bbq and drinking was rather less spiritual!
