Exeter Cathedral

... taken from upstairs in the restaurant where we had lunch today. It's been a beautiful day. When Mr PP came home from Archery (where, apparently, in one round he hit the bull's eye with every one of three consecutive arrows) we set off for Exeter. It was lovely to wander round the city and do a bit of shopping and browsing.

(Also spotted some ancient Roman wall from when Exeter was Isca Dumnoniorum - or simply Isca. Phew! Just as I was getting withdrawl symptoms after all the Roman buildings in France last month!)

I don't think Devon was alone in having another taste of summer today.
Hasn't it been great to enjoy this fabulous blue sky.
