Looking for Antique Cars

This started as a lazy day and then we decided to go and scan the countryside for some heights that could have been homesteads of the settlers as I had been reading about it and new where they might be.
That kind of house is called Fornbýli in Icelandic - actually means "old house".

The green house in the picture is an automated kiosk, run by solar and wind. There is a table and benches and Sigga is standing at an observation platform.
In the background are the famous Dyrfjöll - Door Mountains.

In the evening Gulla and Danni arrived - they will be with us for a few days. Gulla asked what we did do to day and we told her we went looking for "fornbýlum" which is the same pronunciation as "fornbílum" which means "old cars" or "antique cars" and she was flabbergasted - and it turned into a good and heartily laugh for everyone.

Location: Points at Dyrfjöll.
