Plums: False Alarm

I went out to investigate the rather splendid-looking plums in the garden, and was disappointed to see that quite a few of them had gum oozing out (extra = Exhibit B). I assumed that I'd find larvae inside, so picked a few and cut them open, but all were larva-free (and tasty)! Phew.
