Butterfly Rescue

It was a beautiful afternoon at my brother-in-law's back yard. His wife, Marie, has a wonderful garden and while we were touring around the garden a black and yellow butterfly came crashing down just in front of us and landed in the grass. Its wings were in rough shape and we didn't know if it was on its last legs. We had a fierce storm the night before and it might have got battered around in the weather. I gently picked it up and put it on her butterfly bush and right away its little tongue came out and it started to drink the nectar from the tiny flowers, it then flew to a day lily and flox and back to the buttery fly flower. The nectar seem to revive it, as it took off after a little time on the bush and flew away. A happy ending!
