Pont trans-border Rochefort, France

This is one of the only two remaining mighty trans-border "bridges" in the world.
Built in 1900 it carries people and goods across the river in a sort of Gondola on ropes. Built to allow ocean sailing boats up the river it now only carries tourists.
This is an end view, the grey structure against the grey stormy sky was quite impressive.
