Day 240 Red Palm

This evening was mellow - a BBQ in the fading light with friends lazily catching up on news future plans. 

The back lighting behind the BBQ turned the dead leaves of the palm a gentle shade of red. We seemed to spend a quite a while talking about what a nuisance these dead leaves were to the gardener while Vane quietly plaited one of these leaves. Then talk moved on to penis-flowered orchids
