Apparently, size does matter

"If you're looking for a fir, we've not got much under nine foot," said the man at the Christmas tree farm. "This is a nice one - probably a bit more than nine, but you can have it for the price of a nine footer."

Should've realised it was bigger than that when it would hardly go in the car. Definitely realised it when I got it home and it was scraping the ceiling. It's ridiculously big. And the log base is all wobbly.

Oh dear. Not the best tree expedition ever.
