Kids in my 'hood

I've never been to Notting Hill Carnival first thing before. I normally rock up about 3pm when the floats are in full flow. However there has to be a first time for everything. 

I arrived before the parade officially started this morning.

I got some good pictures of the London Skaters who I befriended at Westbourne Park plus a few nice portraits of individual performers and locations.

I didn't mind the drenching at all, saving my raincoat for the camera. It as nice to at last feel cooler again.

Home to a nice bath and clothes in the washing machine.
