Went shopping with dad this morning. Got some lavender oil from the distillery in Nyons. This is the truck of lavender discards that had just been used to make the stuff. What a smell! Gorgeous.

Got some food at the supermarket where Sam was working. Gonna have to catch up with him. Hadn't seen him since he was a baby and he's about to go into his last year at high school.

Elisabeth called round this afternoon. So brilliant to see her and catch up.

Dinner tonight was excellent. Salade de petit épautre and some potato salad as well made with Carrie'd purple spuds from her garden.
