A very busy Sunday

A busy day for myself and Mrs G. We awoke early as we fancied a trip to the Thainstone Sunday market. Sadly we were disappointed at the market. Not many car boots on the go and what we did see was junk. Disappointed at the market we decided to head to Banchory to visit Kuchini. We are massive fans of the Portlethen cafe and have been keen to visit ever since they opened in Banchory last month.
We were not disappointed.
The place looks great and the menu is equally as impressive.
We were walking past when Mr Kuchini spotted us and exclaimed,
"Hello, what are you doing know this side of the country?"
Maybe we go in too much?
Was good to see Mr kucchini and we genuinely just did go to Banchory just to see this cafe.
Lunch was ace. We both had the chicken goujon wrap with BBQ sauce. Which was delicious. For dessert I opted for the red velvet calendar and Mrs G had the carrot.
Carrot cake I mean. Not just a Carrot.
To accompany our dessert we both ordered a coffee and we were delighted to see that we got a free mini cone with our coffee. I got Mint Choc chip and Mrs G got Salted Caramel.
Absolutely brilliant.
We will most definitely be back.
Maybe tomorrow.

After lunch we headed home and discovered that the nephews were heading to Brechin castle so we decided to join them.
Brechin castle is ace!
They have a great park with giant trampoline/ bouncy things.
After a play and a donut. It was time for home. Afternoon nap, then a cup of tea and x factor.
Cracking weekend.
Dreading tomorrow. Arghhhh
