Junior Parkrun 3

Well Carys shot off and tried to race the boys, ended up in tears, unable to breath and very upset as she had walked. She thought she had done 'rubbish'. When the email came in she was only 7seconds off her PB despite the wind and interesting pacing and 2nd girl in her age group which definitely perked her up.

Will and I ran together. He actually ran in a straight line! And listened to me telling him where to run and his aim was for his pace line on Strava to be flatter. Well, he managed that, plus a junior parkrun PB by 30secs. He was very chuffed.

The photo was taken before all of that was known, but after ice lollies were had to cheer up sad people. It worked.
