Jets , Noise and Aviation Fuel

Another epic day out at Bruntingthorpe Airfield in Leicestershire for the Cold War Jets open day. No where else can you get so close to machines running at full power. Its quite an experience, such an experience I got carried away shooting 2000 frames hence a few extras tonight as one or two don't do the event justice.

My main is the English Electric Lightning running with full afterburner a whole new definition of noise. the extras are hunters, Buccaneers and a very impressive model stunt plane. Oh well that's my fix for this year, next up is a more sedate but equally exciting visit to Paris next weekend....i imagine her might be a few blips to be found there :)
