Tomb it may concern.

The memorial to King James 111 of Scots And his queen, Princess Margaret of Denmark.
The royal couple were originally interred in Cambuskenneth Abbey near Stirling but the tomb was opened in the middle of the 19th century and, apparently, the remaining bones crumbled to dust. The King died following the battle of Sauchieburn in 1468 while his queen had passed away two years previously.
Queen Victoria authorised this memorial on the site of the old abbey which is now little more than a few old stones tracing the foundations.
The circumstances of the kings death are still open to debate. Was it a clean death in battle or (murder most horrid) a subsequent assassination?
Do I smell an ancient cover up?
