Weekend away

Our Florida holiday in May meant that we didn't have a 'summer' holiday planned. Decided we needed a bit of a break though so we booked a couple of nights in a Premier Inn in Hartlepool.

We called at Staithes on the way up, a bit overcast but a lovely little village. Spent ages looking in rock pools and had our picnic before driving further north for a stop on Saltburn. Really liked it there and will go back when we have more time.

This is Staithes - didn't realise how muddy this sand was until I looked at my shoes!
