Alpine troughs

I was going to put this up in mono for a sight to behold, but it really doesn't look good as a mono, so I will have to miss this last week of the senses challenge.
I got these alpines in the week and wanted to get them planted up today. Im really chuffed, made up my own alpine compost, and did it all, start to finish myself. Even lugged the bags of alpine grit around.
Funny old day. Callum fell off a step ladder, girl dog trip to vets with swollen paw. Both ok now, but not really how I'd have liked the bank holiday Monday to be!
Still, good night sleep, and we'll all be fine.
