TO BLIP . . .

. . . OR NOT TO BLIP . . .  a grand day out although I made many wrong choices. We started out at Tophill Low Nature Reserve. I only had my small bridge camera and have never had a grand view of a Kingfisher here before, only the odd rapid glimpse. This fella stayed around for over 40 minutes. The guy next to me fired off his camera with a 500mm lens in machine-gun mode and took some very grand images. If only I had brought my big camera and lens !
So . . . dare I Blip such a poor image of Kingy hovering above the water . . . well I have and the extra shows King in a more modest pose. If you want to see very grand bird piccies try my friend  fotoday.
