Bridge over the River Thames

just beyond the first lock , St Johns Lock, on its way to London. we (my wife and grandchildren plus 2 Jack Russels) walked from Lechlade to Buscot, a National Trust Village. with Buscot Lock and weir. light lunch at the lovely little cafe then back along the Thames path to Lechlade  and ice cream.  came to leave and traffic was at a stand still the way we needed to go so drove across to Burford and down into Cheltenham for a nice pub meal dropping children off in Gloucester after then home to Stroud for a good rest, us and the dogs. a really nice  day was had by all though.
