Sight

Mono Monday's challenge this week is 'Sight'. My pilot friends will immediately understand why I've used this picture. For the benefit of everyone else, the triangular shape on the end of the wing is a 'sighting tool' and its purpose is to allow the pilot to check the angle of the wing during aerobatic manoeuvres. Essentially where the aircraft is at unusual attitudes. For example checking the 90 degree line when pulling up to the vertical or 45 degree line when performing stall turns.

This photograph is from an aerobatic flight in a CAP10 back in 2009. I've been flown in a helicopter for aeros this year but not fixed wing. I need to rectify that soon as I appear to be spending a lot of time looking up.
