High Tide

L and I had a day trip to Fife to collect our niece who had been staying in Elie for a couple of days.  

The weather didn't disappoint but it was rather windy.  While the boats were being tossed about on the waves we watched three wind surfers struggling to keep afloat.  Pier jumpers will jump whatever the weather.

It was sunny and warm enough to enjoy an ice cream before starting the journey home.  It will be a very good day when the road works on the M74 are finished and the traffic can move freely once more .... at the moment that final part of the journey is AWFUL!
