Migrant in Moscow

Red October Island

Colours, textures, rippled water, a tempting composition.

Almost as tempting as the chocolate made here between 1889 to 2007;  I recall smelling chocolate on days when the wind blew in the right direction.

The island (it lies between the Moscow River and a Canal) is now an urban renewal project and being done successfully:  many creative spaces, mostly entertainment and food, created within the structures of the old Red October chocolate factory in Moscow.

Post blip:  I'd forgotten that I blipped this scene in calmer waters, quite recently (14 July 2016).
