I knew, when I took Maisie for her morning walk, that it would end, if not in tears, at least in the shower!

I took her along the floodbank and she was off lead. She just can't resist running down onto the mudflats, splashing around, then running over the other side of the embankment and diving into the drainage ditch.

So I brought home one stinky, mud and pond weed covered dog and took her straight up for a shower. She's SO good in there - and puts up with everything that needs to be done. It took ages as the black silt and brown mud and green pond weed gradually washed out of her fur!
