Eye Eye

Last day in Arles and RobT and I were spending it together rather than doing our own thing.

Arles is set on the banks of the River Rhone and so this morning we walked along the banks of the Rhone to the Departmental Museum of Arles dropping in some photography exhibitions on the way.

The museum houses all the Roman ruins from the various sites in Arles. One of which is a sizeable Roman barge that was found a few years ago sunk in the Rhone.

On our walk we spotted these bouyes that had been made to look like eyes.

Left Arles at 4.45pm and arrived back at Nice Ville at just before 9pm. Pizza, a pichet of rose and then bed.
